First Chip Shop run of the year

Mike Anthony led the first evening ride of the year, from Birstall through the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire countryside to the White Horse in Norton, just outside Daventry. The weather was changeable as the group set off along the A46. Once off the M1, and through Enderby there were some glorious country roads, although some were typical “Northamptonshire”! An unfortunate puncture for one of the riders split up the group, but everyone made it, and the fisha nd chips were great. There was some night riding practice on country roads heading home, as the M1 was shut, so all in all a great first ride.
