Leicester and District Advanced Motorcyclists

Who are we, and how can we help?

LADAM are the official provider of the IAM RoadSmart Advanced rider training programme for the Leicestershire area.

We are affiliated to IAM Roadsmart and are run entirely by volunteers who get a lot of fun from their bikes, whether they are training others in advanced riding, out on social rides, or touring in the UK or on the Continent.

Our Members and Associates ride a wide variety of machines ranging from sportsbikes and tourers to adventure bikes and cruisers. Our volunteer Observers will give you the skills & confidence to pass the IAM RoadSmart advanced rider test.

Whatever bike you ride you will be made most welcome, so why not come along and have a Free Taster ride!

Where we meet

We meet every otherSaturday at Leicester North Services, Loughborough Rd, Leiter LE4 3BT, located off the roundabout between the A6 and A46. Meeting here gives us access to many different kinds of roads for training, from the busy M1 to tiny lanes throughout the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. See the events page for dates of our club Saturdays.

It’s a fine sight to see so many motorcylces lined up on a Saturday morning, and using this public space gives us plenty of space for briefing before our rides and debriefing afterwards, with full use of the service amenities.

On most club Saturdays there is also a group ride, led by one of our experienced ride leaders and open to all members.
